Haven’t blogged in a while, so wanted to put a note here. Paul, be proud be proud
Listening to the President tonight during one of his first addresses to the nation, I couldn’t help but feel that we are becoming a socialist society. I better head down to the local government office and get a a place in the head of the line.
Couldn’t help but chuckle when he blamed the Bush administration for “this crisis.” He then went on to say that banks took risky bets on people that they knew couldn’t pay back a loan. Didn’t the CLINTON administration pass a law on this? Hmm
Hate to admit it, but I’m pretty addicted to the game. Haven’t gotten past “medium” difficulty. Tried it on the higher setting with dismal results. Guess I’ll have to play non-stop to get better, but that’s not likely to happen anytime soon. Hopefully will have some good stuff to report on this week. Lots going on on Capitol Hill. I’m sure we will be a nanny state soon enough. Wonder if I’ll get bailed out?
Truthfully, I have forgotten to blog the last 2 days.
Only thing I’ve noticed the last few days is that Obama called for all Americans to begin to reducing their energy consumption on the campaign trail. That’s a cool idea, might save us some money and help the planet out. But, doesn’t he keep the Oval Office at 80F? Reporters have stated that it is that hot in there, he is “from Hawaii” and likes the warmer temp. Do as I say, not as I do. The Democrat slogan!
Check it out for yourself (yes I know this is a link to the Weekly Standard, a conservative magazine):
Hmm, wish I had something clever today, but computer says no
Thank God. If I have to pay taxes, I expect the people representing me to pay taxes as well. However, I do understand that the laws are skewed for Democrats. If he would have been a Republican though, he would be in jail.
Not much to report today. Surprised at all the snow in England though, that was pretty cool.
Still waiting on my government handout though….
Ubuntu requires too much stuff to do to get it Windows-esque. I will get back to it once I have a minute of free time.
Nothing against Ubuntu, I still have it on my computer. Just need more time to spend with it than I have now.
Trying out Ubuntu for the 7th or 8th time, using it right now as matter of fact. It’s come a long way in the last 2 or 3 years, but still has some ways to go before I think it will be 100% user friendly. Good job though, will give them that.
Really enjoy how fast the OS, and nice not to hear the fans in my computer. Smooth.
